<p>If you&#8217;ve ever performed workout after workout after workout with little to show for it, it could have been due to the fact that you just weren&#8217;t performing the right combinations of movement.</p>
<p>Here are the most important exercises that you need to add to your workout program.</p>
<p><strong>Squats </strong></p>
<p>Squats are often considered the single most important exercise for any fat loss program because they burn such a high number of calories when performed.  First, squats typically are the exercise where you will lift the greatest amount of weight through the movement, which serves to increase the metabolism the most.</p>
<p>Also, since squats will work so many muscle groups at once, you&#8217;ll burn the most calories minute per minute doing this exercise.</p>
<p><strong>Deadlifts </strong></p>
<p>The second best exercise to include in your fat loss program are deadlifts.  Deadlifts are great for working the lower body as well as the back and will also help you maintain your strength level while losing weight.  It&#8217;s important that you don&#8217;t begin to lift too light or that could quickly lead to a loss in muscle mass.</p>

<p>Most of the information that you are going to read about being healthy or losing weight is going to be sent to you through one of the commercial weight loss companies. These companies may seem, on the outside, as if they really want to help you and that they are interested in seeing you lose weight. In reality, however, they are simply a business that wants to earn as much money as possible for themselves and their investors. If they were to help you to exercise lose weight and look your best, they would soon go out of business, especially if they gave you long term results.</p>
<p>That is why it is often necessary for you to forget everything that you&#8217;ve learned about weight loss up to this point in order to be successful and to lose your weight for the long term. In reality, it does not have anything to do with drinking diet shakes, eating special types of foods or buying the latest piece of exercise junk that you get off late-night TV. To put it quite simply, you need to watch what you are eating, eat a clean and healthy diet and get some exercise on a daily basis.</p>
<p>I know that doesn&#8217;t sound exciting and my particular way of weight loss does not come with beautiful people showing you their former fat selves. What I can tell you, however, is that the real way to exercise lose weight and get in the shape of your life has to do with calories. A calorie is a unit of energy and it if you are taking in more energy in the form of calories every day than what you&#8217;re putting out, the additional calories are going to be stored as fat. It honestly is that simple.</p>
<p>The only way for you to turn the tide on this is to reduce the amount of calories below what it is that you are burning on a daily basis. This can be done in two different ways or better yet, through a combination of two different things. You can reduce the amount of calories that you are eating every day by eating a healthy diet and you can increase the amount of calories that you are using by getting some exercise. Doing a combination of these two things makes it very easy for us to be at a 500 to 1000 calorie deficit per day which will help us to lose weight at a steady pace and keep the weight off permanently.</p>
