Health and Fitness tips: Loss your weight easily now

December 31st, 2009

Are you thinking about losing weight & need some help getting started? Well let me start by saying that millions of Americans start the journey towards weight loss every year. Plenty of of them don’t ever experience any progress. Use these tips to make sure you are not two of them & you come out of the gate walking.

1. It is important to get in touch & understand your true motivation, so you need to figure why exactly you would like to lose weight. Is it because you need to look sexier to the opposite sex? Is it so you can fit in to clothes you haven’t worn for years? Or is it so you can improve your confidence & self-esteem? Whatever the reason, make sure you understand it before moving further.

2. Eat as often as you are hungry. The usual recommendation is four times per day. It is better to eat more meals that are smaller than less meals that are bigger. Use caution with this two, though, because you need to make sure these more frequent meals are smaller & you are not over-eating.

3. Drink water & drink it often. It is been found in studies that people often mistake thirst & minor dehydration for hunger. So when you feel like you might be getting hungry, try to drink a glass of water & see how you feel. You might be surprised when you realize your hunger has gone away.

4. Take the stairs when possible. If you live or work on the second floor, third floor, or even higher, try to take the stairs in lieu of the elevator. Doing something as small as this can help burn hundreds of extra calories a week. Sometimes this is all you need to make the difference between losing or fundamentally maintaining your weight.

5. Increase the amount of vegetables you are eating. As Americans this is the two area they seem to have the biggest problem with. They are obsessed with meat & sweets & things that are high in calories & fat. Guess what they skip as a result? That is right, our vegetables. Make an hard work to eat more vegetables & your waist line will thank you.

6. Track what you are eating & how often. My suggestion is to do this on a daily basis for a week or five. This gives you a great idea of what you are actually consuming & how easy it will be to cut some of those things out. Give it a try & you’ll be surprised what cuts you can make.

7. Stay as positive as you possibly can. often I see people get on a “diet” or workout program only to see them give up within weeks or even days. When you are trying to lose weight the biggest enemy of success is you! Don’t give up & do whatever it takes to remain positive about what you are doing & what you are trying to accomplish. Weight Loss Corona – Tips to Stay Hydrated During Exercise

July 19th, 2009

Here is some motivation: Water helps to rid our bodies of waste, other fats, and keeps us clean and looking vibrant on the outside. To put it simply, our bodies are basically composed of water, bones, and skin. Our bodies are made up of 60 to 70 percent water. Each time that we workout or sweat, the water that we have in our bodies is depleted. Therefore, calling for even more water to be replenished. Water helps to get rid of excess fat in our bodies and helps to speed up metabolism. Water is very important for humans to live and stay healthy. Drinking water is great for losing weight. If you are looking for Weight Loss in Corona, you will find it by drinking tons of water while you diet and exercise. It may not taste that great to some, but it is a requirement for staying properly hydrated and maintaining good health. They make taste packets for that kind of thing, ya know- so there are no excuses as to why anyone should not be drinking the required amount of daily water intake.

Just how do you determine what your personal requirement is, you ask? The standard amount is 8 cups a day. But, your individual amount may be different. You can determine your individual required amount based on your weight. Just divide the amount of your weight in half and whatever that number equals is the equivalent to how many ounces of water that you will need on a daily basis. If you weigh 120, then your required amount will be 60 ounces. This is only the required amount outside of exercise, however. You can always drink much more than your required amount if you would like, it is not going to hurt you. You may just have to pee a lot! Here are more tips on how to stay hydrated during exercise:

1) You should continue to drink a cup of water for every 20 minutes that you exercise.

2) If you become thirsty, then your body has already dehydrated, you need to get fluids quick.

3) Drink water before, during, and after exercising especially.

4) Another way to know that you are getting the right amount of water daily, is to drink it until your urine is clear.

5) If you start to sweat, that is another good cue that you need water.

6) Carry your own ice bottle of water with you during workouts, the more the better.

7) Never go out on a hot day to run without carrying some water with you. Water helps to regulate the body’s temperature, and if you get too hot, you can die of a heat stroke.

Water is the most natural and abundant resource known to mankind. It only makes sense that we get the right amount that we need to individually suit our bodies. Water even has the benefit of creating a fullness sensation in your tummy, keeping you from overeating. Any diet combined with water is a diet that is sure to succeed. Working out in a gym and trying to achieve Weight Loss in Corona can benefit you even more when there is water involved.

No matter who you are, take care of yourself and love yourself with some nice, cool water. Tips for a Healthy Colon Through Proper Diet

March 30th, 2009

The average person’s diet is horrible and loaded with useless carbohydrates and sugars that stall the metabolism and have created the worst obesity epidemic the world has ever known. That is the obvious problem of our eating habits but there is an unseen hazard that lurks within our bodies caused by bad diet and lifestyle choices—colons that are impacted with the byproducts of the foods we eat creating poisonous toxins.

The toxins that build up in our bodies as a result create a high stress level for our systems and are even a leading factor in our basic inability to lose weight and keep it off. Even more serious health issues like kidney and liver malfunctions, diseases such as diabetes, candida, hemorrhoids, and the tendency to catch colds and the flu are all heavily related to the state of your colon’s health. Improper colon health due to diet is also a leading factor in the 2nd leading cause of cancer in the world—colon cancer.

Cleansing the Impurities out of the colon is not a fast instant procedure. It can take months to properly cleanse and then should be incorporated into a lifestyle. Along with the helpful cleansing products and other materials such as enemas eating properly can also facilitate good colon health and cleansing. It is important to adjust your lifestyle as well as providing a ‘temporary’ fix by total cleansing and some of the healthy eating tips have both a long term, and a cleansing means to keep your body working properly. Other eating tips have no ill effects and are the same for both lifestyle and cleansing.

Drink Water

As a society we drink everything but the very elixir of life—water. Water is essential to every function of your body from brain to heart and digestion to proper blood flow. Water also helps flush your system of impurities and is a great diet aid as well.

As a lifestyle: A normal healthy individual should drink at least 8 cups of water daily.

For the benefit of flushing out your system: Drinking 16 to 20 cups of water daily is recommended.

Where’s The Beef?
The one place it should not be is in your system. Red meat is hard to break down and remnants can remain in the colon for years.

As a lifestyle: Avoid all red meats. You can get plenty of protein from fish, chicken, legumes, and nuts.

For the benefit of cleansing: Eliminate red meat altogether while you are cleansing.

Fill up on Fibers
The normal person’s diet contains less than half of the daily recommended fiber amount. Even the recommended amount of fiber is at a very minimum. Boosting the fiber in your diet makes drinking extra water imperative to avoid complications.

As both a lifestyle and during cleansing: Consume brown rice, leafy vegetables and beans as a regular part of your daily diet.

Fruits and Veggies
There are no bad side effects to eating too many fruits and vegetables. These are the foods your body craves and not only provide nutrients but also extra water as well.

As both a lifestyle and during cleansing: You should consume at least 8 servings of fruits and vegetables daily.

Cut Out the Caffeine
Caffeine is a drug and highly addictive. Not only does it produce nasty withdrawal symptoms it increases the toxicity in your system and promotes weight gain and cravings.

As both a lifestyle and during cleansing: completely eliminate all caffeine products from your diet including: coffee, black teas, soda containing caffeine, chocolate. This list includes decaffeinated coffee as even though the caffeine is greatly reduced there is no such thing as a completely decaffeinated coffee.

What to drink: Choose green teas, fruit or vegetable juices, or the water you should be consuming on a daily basis in place of all of your normal caffeine products.
