Reduce Stomach Fat for Improved Health & Beauty

Women more so than men concentrate a great deal of effort on their looks. As a woman it is a part of our make up to focus on our appearance and try to put forward our most impressive displays of beauty in any occasion or gathering. However there are a large majority of us who have problems in the area of looks that relate to excess weight. This issue affects women of all ages but does tend to increase as we age. Middle age is often a period in a woman’s life where the excess weight she is carrying becomes a real emotional issue as well as a physical or health one.

Not all of our efforts are spent on showing the image we want to others, but also so that we ourselves have a higher belief in our own self worth. Nobody can really know what another person is thinking or feeling about us but we tend to think too much ourselves which creates a personal paranoia about our own outer beauty. We often feel dissatisfied with ourselves and loose confidence especially if we were once slim and trim and have slowly over time put on those extra pounds. Many women don’t understand that due to the age process, unless you have amazing genes, our body stores the fat we have in different ways and our skin looses the ability to be as firm as it once was without a lot of effort.

One big problem area is the stomach where fat when accumulating there makes us look and feel, to ourselves at least, unattractive. Often the fat on our stomach will group under the skin on top of the muscles of the stomach however there are cases where it will group together under the muscles. When the accumulation of fat is on the outside of the muscles this is generally only a concern for physical appearance however for those that have the fat that accumulates under the muscles this can cause serious health problems.

Many of these health problems relating to fat under the stomach muscles start in older women around middle age or older and the damage they can do can be very serious for health concerns. When this is the case the fat needs to be managed in some way not purely for an appearance factor but for a continued health benefit and you should contact your doctor if you are concerned.

Any kind of stomach fat, regardless of where it is accumulating is a concern for woman for social occasions as well. When you want to wear the latest fashions such as low cut jeans or tight fitting jeans or skirts and have the fat accumulation on your stomach you feel despondent when trying to purchase the latest styles. Then if you are perhaps invited to social outings such as to the beach where you would normally be required to wear a swimsuit or bikini the fat around your stomach tends to create havoc for these kinds of social events. Making women self conscious, often to the point where they will not attend any such events.

The recommended ways to try to avoid these fats forming are to try to ensure that you are maintaining a healthy lifestyle including your diet, regular exercise and monitoring alcoholic or sugary liquid intake. Maintaining a healthy diet is beneficial not only relating to the fatty deposits but also in overall health, the same applies regarding exercise. Try to find ways that you can exercise as part of your daily routines to ensure that you are including some physical aspect in to every day. Of course if you are able to understand these factors when you are younger you can get your healthy lifestyle off to an early start. However many of us ignore the early years where our body is still “holding us together” only to find that as we get older the elastic starts to stretch!

Take a look at your lifestyle and the way you do things every day. What you eat, what you drink and how much exercise you get. If you are at all concerned about any fat deposits that appear to you to be under the muscles then you should be contacting your doctor for further investigation and request their assistance with balancing your life including such factors as diet and exercise. It is almost never too late to start but the earlier you start to take care of yourself the less problems you will have as you get older.

Reviewing tons of submissions each and every day is a lot of work, especially when offering it for free. But of course a directory needs listings, so that’s just the dedication it takes.

Get in Shape at Home With Six Pack Ab Exercise

December 24th, 2009

I am not one to get out of the house and spend time at the gym or fitness center. What I wanted to do was to get in shape at home. Maybe once I was in shape I might venture out to the gym once in a while just to show off but to start with I wanted to stay at home. I did a number of things at my home workout routine including a six pack ab exercise or maybe I should say a number of 6-pack abs exercises.

I basically did two things once I made my mind up to lose my belly fat and get a flat stomach. Again, I wanted to get in shape at home so I had to figure out where and how I was going to do it. Not always easy if you do not have the space or the home gym equipment. But I was able to do it because I found a great program to point me in the right direction starting with making my mind up. Here are the two things I implemented.

I decided on my exercise routine. This is a necessary. If we do not have a plan we will fail every time. I know it can be a huge elephant to eat if we try to do it all at once. But even the largest elephant can be polished off if we take one bite at a time. Once you get your routine of exercises, and it does not have to be a lot just a well rounded routine, you need to begin at a moderate pace. Do not try to lose it all in two days. It will take weeks and months to get in shape at home or anywhere else for that matter. I purchased an exercise ball and put up a pull-up bar in the garage and followed a great program I found on the Internet and did one specific six pack ab exercise daily. I did not do all my exercise routine daily because we need to rest the muscles too but this one I did daily. It is called the plank and all you do is get into a push up pose leaning on your forearms and on your toes. Try to hold that position as long as you can and if you get past two minutes you are doing great.

I also decided to watch my nutrition. Yes, along with exercise you need to watch what you are eating. This nutritional and exercise program I got online has a fantastic section on the kinds of foods to eat and the ones to stay away from. So I just began to change the way I ate and actually started to see the effects of my changed eating habits in just a couple of days. My energy was better and I felt better than I had for years. Eating fat is not the problem we all need fats in our system the key is knowing which fats to eat and which ones to stay clear of. If you want to get in shape at home then watch what you eat.

Well the length of time to get in shape at home might take longer than if you were to hire a personal trainer and spend your days at the gym but it does not have to take any longer. However, you will have to make your mind up and get motivated to get it done.

How to Exercise Your Stomach – 2 Great Exercises For Six-Pack Abs

June 17th, 2009

Everybody wants a flat, toned stomach. Problem is, too many people go about stomach exercises the wrong way. Getting a flat stomach involves two processes: building your abdominal muscles and burning the fat off those muscles.

The first part is easy: building the muscles by exercising your stomach. A combination of these exercises will ensure that you have tight abs.

Crunches are the staple of stomach exercises. Lie with your back and feet flat on the floor, and your knees bent at a right angle. Making sure that you don’t move your legs at all, lift the shoulder blades off the ground, making sure to use your stomach muscles only. Shoot for 20-30 reps per set, and 3-5 sets at a time (with a couple of minutes rest between sets).

Regular crunches work out the top of your abs the best. For a balanced stomach work out, you should do sets of reverse crunches as well. Start by lying on your back with your feet a few inches from the ground. Move your legs towards your chest while lifting your butt off of the ground. Again concentrate on using your ab muscles for this, you should feel the burn quickly if you’re doing it right.

As with all exercises, it’s important to move slowly to develop range in your muscles instead of swinging your body around, which can develop flat spots in your muscles’ strength.

Remember how stomach exercises aren’t the sole part of building a tight, flat stomach? You also need cardio exercise to burn the fat off the stomach muscles. All the crunches in the world won’t burn fat as fast as a few good cardio exercises. Go out and jog for a few minutes each day and get your heart rate up to burn those calories and work the fat off your stomach muscles.

Cardio exercises benefit you both by burning fat as well as generally bettering your health. Everybody should start on a fitness program for better health, in addition to building muscle.

Your Abs Routines Need Different Stomach Exercises

March 17th, 2009

There are many stomach exercises that can be include in your abs routines. Often people will pick 1 or 2, and stick with them. While this can be pretty effective, it may not be enough to give you that all round core workout.

There is something about having that flat chiselled 6 pack, that fires the imagination. Ab muscles do not only look great, they also improve the general look of your upper body. Another major benefit of strong core muscles is the other health positives that are provided.

Most people perform stomach exercises mainly for cosmetic reasons, but there is a far more important reason for having a flat and strong stomach. Your stomach area is the core part of your body. The core is the place that everything else comes from. There are vital internal organs behind your stomach wall, and they need protection.

Not only are your internal organs protected by a strong stomach, they are also firmly held in place. When your stomach area is covered in fat, your stomach will push forward due to the excessive weight of the stomach. This can often result in your organs not getting the protection that they need, along with a chance of some of them being slightly dislodged. This is why you should include a variety of stomach exercises in your abs routines, so that you are targeting your core area from every angle possible.

No mtter what stomach exercise you choose, it will only be effective if you do it on a consistent level. Even the best abs workout or ab machine is going to be useless, unless you are prepared to do it on a consistent basis. Another thing to consider is the ab exercise machines that you can buy these days. While some ab machines can be effective, you don’t really need them to get the 6 pack that you want. There are plenty of abs routines that will give you the results that you desire. Regardless of which exercises you do for your stomach, you will still have to put the work in. There are no shortcuts.

You will want to pick exercises that target your oblique’s, the lower, middle, and upper sections of your abs, and let’s not forget your lower back. each area is a sum of the whole, so hitting the whole from every angle will give you great all round development. A strong core will also provide lots of health benefits.

There are many exercises that you can do as part of your abs routines, here are just a few.

Crunches
Weighted Crunches
Side Crunches
Leg Lifts
Weighted Front Squats
Plank
Side Plank
Sit Ups
Side Bends
Bar Twists
Leg Raises

These are just a few core exercises that you can do as part of your abs workouts. Try to find out what is goint to suit you. There may be a bit of trial and error involved, but it will be time well spent. The more angles that you hit your stomach, the better it will look.

Another thing to remember is that regardless of how hard you exercise your stomach, your abs will only become visible if you lose the fat that covers them. This will mean making changes to your diet, along with picking the best stomach exercises as part of your abs routines

Using the right abs routines is the key to getting that great 6 pack. Visit us know and learn which abs workout you should be doing
