Grains for the most part do not contain much calcium unless they are fortified. This is not to say they do not contribute to our calcium intake. While the levels are low these are foods that people eat all the time.</p>
<p>Another important source of calcium is dietary supplements. There are basically two types of supplements available, they are carbonate and citrate. Both of these are absorbed into the body equally under normal conditions. It is known that people with reduced stomach acid will absorb calcium citrate more easily. You will absorb calcium carbonate more efficiently if it is taken with food where the body can absorb calcium citrate equally with or without food.</p>
<p>When taking calcium supplements it is good to know that absorption into the body is optimum at doses or 500 mg or less. If you take 1000mg per day it would be more efficient to take two doses of 500mg over the course of the day.</p>
<p>It should also be noted that some people will experience bloating, gas or constipation when taking calcium supplements. This can easily be avoided by spreading out the dosage, taking it with meals or changing your brand of supplement.</p>

<p>Some of the common women&#8217;s health issues are related to menstruation, and these include absence of periods, irregular periods, heavy periods, and painful periods. Women may experience an absence of period for a few months because of pregnancy, breastfeeding, or menopause, but there are some people who do not have a period for a long time without experiencing any of these conditions. Not having a period for six months or more is not natural, and you should consult a gynecologist to find out the cause of the problem. Mostly, medications are prescribed to stimulate ovulation, which will make women menstruate again.</p>
<p>Irregular periods refer to fluctuating menstrual intervals, and there can be absence of periods for an extended period of time, overly frequent periods, continuous bleeding for weeks, and spotting when you are not having your period. Vaginal infections can cause itchiness, smelly yellowish or grey vaginal discharge, burning sensation when urinating, and pain during sexual intercourse. Pelvic inflammatory diseases also have similar symptoms as vaginal infections, but they can also cause fever and back pain. Other women&#8217;s health issues include cystitis, ovarian cysts, polycystic ovary syndrome, fibroids, thrush, prolapse, and osteoporosis.</p>

<p>The potential ill effects to your health from working in an office environment are relatively well known and publicized, including things such as repetitive strain injury (RSI) and back pain from poor posture. What you may not consider is that these things and more can become a problem for you when you work from home.</p>
<p>RSI is probably the most commonly known office work caused health problem and it occurs as a result of bad posture. Most people know of it in association with typing and computer work, but almost any repetitive work, such as sewing, knitting, or other crafts could cause the problem. Measures that improve your posture and general working position can help to reduce the pain of RSI.</p>
<p>Working from home may lead to a reduction in the amount of time one spends physically active. Even if this is only because you are no longer driving to work, and you lose the time behind the wheel and walking to and from the car, the reduction in activity means a reduction in the amount of calories that you burn. If you move from a more physically active job to working from home, then this could mean a significant weight gain.</p>
