Exercise and A Sugar Free Lifestyle

January 9th, 2010

 Powered by Max Banner Ads

Can I have a sugar free lifestyle without exercise? Yes, you can. Many people on a sugar free diet of necessity can’t exercise. However, those of you who can be active should have a program of activities planned even if you aren’t doing the sugar free thing.

With that said, exercise and a sugar free lifestyle go hand in hand. The benefits of exercise along with going sugarless are tremendous. However, before you begin a program of activities, please consult your physician to be sure you are healthy enough to do the activities you have planned.

A good fitness program does so many things for you. You already know the benefits because much has been written about the value of exercise: lower your heart rate, lower your blood pressure, burn calories and lower your body fat to name a few of the benefits.

However, exercise makes you feel better. When you become active, the endorphins created by your body, kick in. The endorphins released in the brain gives us a natural high or “runner’s high.” In other words, exercise makes you feel great!

We don’t know a lot about these feel-good chemicals released in the brain, but most of you have experienced them when you exercise. Sometimes you can actually have a cold and feel completely washed out. Then you go exercise, and suddenly during the activities, you feel great! That’s the feel-good chemicals made naturally in your body giving you this tremendous sensation.

Even after your exercise is finished, the endorphins still keep you feeling great. Your heart rate stays up to increase your blood flow, and you will actually be more productive in your tasks in life. All this occurs because you chose to exercise.

Now how does the exercise relate to a sugar free lifestyle?  Going sugarless makes you more aware, alert and actually gives you the best feeling you’ve had in your lifetime. You actually feel so much better that you will notice it within a few days of giving up sugar. When you add to this good feeling the feel good chemicals of exercise, you experience the best health of all. You can accomplish more! You are more amiable, easier to get along with. You will experience shorter mood swings.

Some research has been done regarding a normal diet suggested by the USDA “Food Pyramid,” loaded with sugar and white carbohydrates (carbs), and depression. Several books have been published about your “normal sugar consumption diets” and depression. In most cases whenever the individuals eliminated sugar and empty carbs from their diets, the depression was gone, and they began to exercise for the first time in years. In one account, the author talks about his severe depression causing him to think constantly of suicide. As soon as he began his sugar free lifestyle, the first thing he did was begin running.

Therefore, put the benefits of exercise and a sugar free lifestyle to work for your good health. You will feel better. You can experience a natural high. You want need to take other chemicals to help you cope and feel better. Your sugar free lifestyle along with a physician approved activities program can give you a brand new life. As always, eat healthy my friends.

StudentScholarships.org – Health Care and Healing the Sick

January 1st, 2010

What motivates me to be a very successful person in life is my parents, myself, my family, my church members and the Lord above. My parents have been pushing me ever since I have been in high school. They always had faith in me and in what I could do, which will take me very far in life. The dream is for me to go to college and finish a degree in the field of healthcare.

The health care field is my choice because I love people and I would love to heal the sick. My main area would be children since I have always love kids. There are so many sick children out there in the world today that it makes me cry every time. There are some children who do not live to see the age 10, which is very sad. There are parents out there who don’t care about children or who don’t know how to take care of them. Some parents are the ones who have the children and put them in trash can or put them off on other people. Even, there are parents out there who are on drugs or alcoholics who have poisoned or tormented their children minds, bodies, and soul.

Someone has to be there to take care of them and make them healthy again so they can live a long prosperous life. Someone has to be a positive role model to the children of the world today so they can become somebody just like I would. All they need is love and guidance. The health field will always need help and that is exactly what field I will be in.

I think I will have miracle hands to heal the children in the world and to be a positive role model at the same time. There are so many things in this world that has something negative to it, but I know I am better than negative. I can achieve anything, which will be positive. My parents always had faith in me and that is needed. My parents’ dream is for me to go to school and get my degree; and I will not let them down. I have to reach that goal until I achieve it. My parents have always given me encouragement in times when I wanted to give up. They always lifted me right on up.

My father passed away this April 14, 2005 and my heart is broken how his death was so quick and out the blue. I know one thing for sure, it is his biggest dream for me to finish school and I have to. I can’t let him down. I know my father is looking down on me and I have to continue to make him proud of me. I am only twenty years old and I don’t have a father anymore and people don’t understand how hard it is for me. But I can’t give up or I will break his heart as well as my mother’s.

Since my mother being a single mother now, I have to make her proud of me . She is being very strong right now and she worries about me everyday getting through school with all this stress on me from loosing my father all the way to financial assistance for school. I tell her every day we will make some way or another. I have very supporting family behind me all the way, so they keep me positive and understanding that every thing will be okay.

Church members are there with a lot of support and love for me and my mom, so that gives me an ambition to work harder. God has brought me this far and I know deep down inside he has a lot of things in store for me to be somebody; and my goal is to become somebody really big who could save a lot of lives. I am a person who likes to be very independent, organized and dedicated to what I do. So if I am going to do something out of life, I am going to love it every step of the way. I have never been the type who gives up. I know sometimes I want to, but I will not let those dreams slip out from out of my hands. I have to be positive out of life because I know everything is not going to happen when I want it but it will happen right on time. I have strong faith in myself that I will graduate and have my degree hopefully by May of 2007. I will obtain that degree and then go for another one. Life is too short to let opportunities jump pass me so I know I have to take them.

Everyone only lives once so you have to live your life to the fullest. The health career has a lot of opportunities like the benefits, the money you make, working with people, meeting new people, spreading my love to others, being dedicated to what I do and working in a hospital. I want to go home at night smiling and knowing that I did a great job and the best I could do for that day. The career is better than money.

Money comes and goes; but people, you never know when you will see them again and I might be the one to save their lives. I would never take a career because of the money. I will take the career because I love to do it. I love people and I am sticking with that desire in my heart to save lives and make children healthy again. All I know is that pushing myself until I’ve achieved what I want out of life is what motivates me and I will not stop motivating myself even after I have achieved my degree. There are a lot more opportunities in the world for me and I will take them. A lot of things take a lot of time, but I will achieve them one by one. When a person don’t have faith in me or tell me I can’t do something, I just push myself even harder to show them I can do anything if I put my mind to it.

I can do anything through Christ. I will make my daddy and my mom proud of me, because they have raised a great child.

Exercise Routines for Fat People

August 26th, 2009

Here are 2 great exercise routines for fat people. A big mistake a lot of trainers and “weight loss experts” make is that they give 1-size fits all routines for everyone. Wrong… overweight people will often get injured on these type of programs. If you have more than 25 pounds to lose and you want a program that helps you to lose weight fast and over the long term while minimizing the risk of injury, then this article may be the answer to what you’re looking for.

Exercise Routines for Fat People

1. Focus on just 1 exercise

Look, right this minute, you’re just trying to lose weight. Not have the best body in the world. So you don’t need to do a bunch of different things. Instead, focus on 1 thing that is good for weight loss and make it work for you. This can be many things. Here are a few safe things for overweight people.

Walking up and down stairs for 15 minutes non-stop, jumping on a mini-trampoline during 5 different tv commercial breaks, doing jumping jacks during tv commercial breaks, and walking on a 15 degree inclined treadmill for 25 minutes.

Those are all great ways to lose weight while minimizing your injury risks.

2. Take 2 exercises and jump back and forth between them

You can take the above exercises I mentioned and switch up between them. Say for example… during 1 commercial break you’ll walk up and down the stairs in your house. Ok, then the next commercial break you’ll do jumping jacks in front of the tv. And so on. You can spread out the workouts… they don’t have to be during consecutive commercial breaks. Just sneak them in wherever it works for you.

These are 2 exercise routines for fat people that are proven to work and they won’t put any undue injury risks on you.
